Distant Horizon was printed from a pastel painting I did en plein air in Chatham, NY. I paint when I am visiting my brother who lives in Camphill Ghent. The campus of Camphill has many grassy paths just like this one for residents, staff, friends, and family to walk whether in quiet meditation or in excited conversation. The wild and cultivated flowers are numerous and the fragrances mix into one sweet smell of summer.
