A Great Day was printed from a watercolor painting I did of my nephew Colin's dog Cooper, an English labrador. Our family gathers for a week in the summer on the Connecticut coast. Colin, his girlfriend Ali, and Cooper (the 'Snoop') usually arrive last because of work schedules. I'm typically swimming or on the beach when they arrive. I know they have arrived because I can feel the ground move with the enthusiastic sprint of Cooper making a b-line straight for the water. This image was a picture I took of him as we were all relaxing watching the sunset. If Coop could talk he would have said "Now, that was a perfect day!"
