Down Time was printed from a watercolor painting I did from my imagination of what a Great Horned Owl might do when we're not watching. Though some would say this depiction is completely unrealistic, I beg to differ. Once, there was a live-cam of a pair of owls who had set up their nest in someone's flower box right on their balcony. The two owls looked quite content taking turns sitting on the eggs in a box that was just the right size for their growing family. So, if that can happen....I'm just saying.
