Vantage Point was printed from a watercolor painting of a house in the Thimble Islands that was lost twice to two different storms and rebuilt after each. The first was made of wood. The second a combination of wood and stone. The third one, depicted in this painting, was made mostly of stone. I can smell the salt air and imagine the views through each of those windows. It's no wonder they didn't want to let it go. Nature will take her course but humans will perservere in their need to be in relationship to natural beauty.
