The Lost and Found series of pastel paintings was a wonderful experience to create. I knew as soon as I came upon this local vista that I had to paint it. And, I don't paint just one of anything anymore. There's so much to learn and so many ways to grow in painting series. An artist whom I totally admired, Prince, wrote a chorus to one of his songs "there's joy in repetition" and I've come to learn that to be true for me.
