Indian Corn magnet is a reproduction of a pastel painting I did en plein on a tractor road between hundreds of acres of ripening pumpkins. The air was crisp, the colors vibrant, and textures varied. It was not what I thought I was going to paint that day. Oh, did I mention it was my birthday!  I try to give the gift of a plein air session on my birthday every year. It is without doubt, one of my happiest places to be. As I was taking in all the orange pumpkins in the fields, my eyes came across this scene. I had to paint it. Too beautiful to pass by.
