From Before is a soft pastel painting I painted en plein air from the back yard of my neighbors house. I love it there, when it's not buggy, because of the elevation. There's something lovely for me about being higher up then "field level".

I let the painting sit for a few weeks before taking it gently to the finish line. From Before measures 5.5" x 7.5", sits in a white mat and a light wood frame totalling 8" x 10".
