'Fine Lines' was printed from a watercolor painting done from a photo reference of a house in the Thimble Islands, CT. My sister discovered the Thimble Islands when looking for a place to have my bridal shower. She knew I wanted to be on the Long Island Sound and the Connecticut Coast was easier for many of my friends to get to as opposed to where my grandmother lived on the North Fork of Long Island, NY. We didn't end up having my shower there but we have rented a cottage in the Thimbles for our family to gather every summer since. It is without doubt, one of my most cherished places.
