I painted Nightfall en plein air behind the church looking out onto Mt. Warner Lake. I have lived in the Pioneer Valley for almost 35 years and a good chunk of it has been in Hadley. I think Hadley is beautiful and Mt. Warner in particular is a very special place. At least it is to me. 

For this soft pastel miniature, measuring 5" x 5", I focused on the reflections in the water. It was a joy to paint. This purchase comes with a frame.
