Resplendent is a watercolor depicting a romantic moment between frogs. He is all resplendent in his emerald green and the pink lotus fanning out around him sets the stage for courtship. She is equally gorgeous in her subtle colors and the bud of the yellow pond lily says it all - "good times ahead." Summer here in Montague, due to all the natural habitat, is a symphony of sound. Among the beauty of it all are the peepers, tree frogs, bull frogs, and toads. I once found a tiny, bright green frog sitting on a petal of one of my echinacea flowers. No doubt I'll be painting that image in the future.

Resplendent original is sold framed and measures 3" x 15".  Prints are sold matted, not framed. The image measures 2.5" x 10.5".
