Camphill Ghent is an intentional community in the Hudson River Valley. The grounds and the buildings are beautiful and an endless source of inspiration for my paintings.  The view in this pastel is one of the many doors and windows that welcome light to pour in. The colors of the walls, trim, and carpet are soft and inviting. This was done on location in late winter when you can tell, by the strengthening sun, spring is around the corner.
