Repose is a pastel painting of the changing seasons. Tawny grass, orange, yellow, and red leaves have taken the place of the greens of summer. The bench is a reminder of how, as my grandmother would say, delicious it is to rest from activity, work, and effort. To just breath the air, take in the sounds and colors of nature, and not try to 'fix anything'.
