A print of an original watercolor painting of the open sea is the setting for these snowy owls who seem to have bitten off more than they can chew.  No doubt, the most whimsical of the line of owl mixed media, the expression of the owls in the shell boat suggests that what seemed like a good idea last night is not feeling quite so smart today. Each owl is lovingly hand painted on a flat beach rock so it can fit comfortably, or maybe not so comfortably, in the boat. The dimensions of the frame are 3 1/2" x 4 1/2" and is made from distressed barn wood in white. Each piece is unique. Expect variations. Purchase comes with a 'Fun Facts About Owls' card.
